Art Tangles

Karen Schmesier and Trisha Wilkins

Welcome to the world of ArtTangles

What is an ArtTangle? ArtTangles are a mix of art and crazy; which pretty much sums up life right?! If you are looking, you can find beauty in everything. As artists, we have created something YOU can participate in! A work of art you can proudly hang on your wall or even give to a loved one.

Doodles have been around since the beginning of time; ArtTangles take artwork and adds an element of crazy fun so that you can sit down and work on it at any time. It’s relaxing and healing to slow down and create something special; and that’s just what we have given you… a head start to creating a beautiful piece of art leaving you enough space to add your own creative magic! As a mother-daughter team, we tangle chaos and realism together to get something truly beautiful called an ArtTangle!

About the Artists

Karen Schmeiser

Art is one of Karen Schmeiser’s great passions. Through her busy life raising six children, along with numerous horses and dogs, she learned to create art that touches the soul. She loves to paint portraits that tell a story and evoke emotion. As a mother, she enjoyed art time with her children, which eventually led to teaching children’s classes for fourteen years and then began teaching portraiture in the Classical Academic method of the Old Masters. As a teacher, she loves to help others find the joy and peace that comes from creating and developing one’s talents. You can view her masterpieces at artofthemasters.org

Trisha Faith Wilkins

Trisha Faith Wilkins was born in Houston, Texas. She comes from a large family and was raised all over the Southwest. She is married to Danny Wilkins and together they have four children; three boys and one little girl. Trisha loves all things outdoors and is always up for a challenge and an adventure! She loves nature and animals and studying God’s creations from all over the world. She is a self-taught artist and loves to see beauty in all things. She has been getting into trouble for doodling her entire life (except by her Mom!) and is grateful to be an adult now making her own rules! Art has always been a place for her to calm her wild spirit and to heal when things seem too tough to deal with. Art has a way of healing and creating ideas that help you through the hardest of times. She finds so much joy in art and giving it to others. We hope you do too!!!
